Our policy ensures transparency and fairness between attendees and organizers. Updated for 2026 standards.

1. General Policy

Verivent is a technology platform that facilitates ticket sales between Event Organizers and Attendees. Refunds are governed primarily by the Organizer's stated policy, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

2. Organizer Responsibility

Each Organizer must:

  • Clearly state refund and cancellation terms on the Event Page
  • Honor their published policies
  • Process refunds promptly when required

Organizers are solely responsible for refunds unless otherwise required by law.

3. Event Cancellations or Changes

If an event is cancelled or materially changed, the Organizer must:

  • Notify Attendees promptly
  • Offer refunds, rescheduling, or alternatives as stated in their policy.

Verivent may assist in communication or facilitation where legally required.

4. Platform Service Fees

Platform service fees are generally non-refundable except:

  • Where required by law
  • Where Verivent determines, at its sole discretion, that a refund is appropriate

5. Chargebacks and Fraud

  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension or termination
  • Verivent may withhold payouts during investigations

6. Disputes

Refund disputes should first be resolved between Attendees and Organizers. Verivent may intervene to comply with legal obligations or prevent abuse.
